NVH Engineer - TEFP Coordinator

NVH Engineer – TEFP Coordinator (TUV SUD America, Inc.; Wakefield, MA): Responsible for leading squeak and rattle noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) analysis on current production vehicles, and launching support for new models. Analyze and interpret quality data, internal feedback, and plant surveillance reports; and develop and lead work plans and projects based on quality results to improve customer satisfaction. Specific job duties of the position will include: Working with cross-functional teams to determine the root cause of issues, developing affordable countermeasures, and working with other teams in order to implement containment strategies; Independently running vehicle tests, including data acquisition and analysis leading to issue resolution; Conducting subjective vehicle squeak and rattle NVH evaluations to determine root cause and prove our robust fixes; and Leading implementation of various squeak and rattle core projects. Based at company HQ: 401 Edgewater Place, Suite 500, Wakefield, MA 01880; position is 100% remote. Requires 10% domestic travel to client sites.

 

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering or a closely related Engineering field; PLUS 1 year of NVH testing experience.

 

Must have: Demonstrated competency in NVH testing tools including LMS, Test.Lab, and HEAD; Demonstrated acoustic signal data acquisition experience; Demonstrated acceleration data acquisition experience; Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment. (Unless otherwise indicated, employer is seeking the ability in the skills listed above with no specific number of years of experience required. All experience can be gained concurrently.)

 

Salary: $84,531 to $100,000 per year
