Chemistry Manager

Your Tasks

  • Lead and manage the chemistry laboratory team, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
  • Oversee resource allocation, scheduling, and capacity planning to meet project timelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, data quality, and operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 17025, GLP, and regulatory requirements; maintain audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with Study Directors and Quality teams to support study execution and technical needs.
  • Manage laboratory metrics, KPIs, and expenses to optimize performance and cost efficiency.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative team culture focused on accountability and professional development.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
  • At least 2 years of people management or operational leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 17025 and GLP standards.
  • Preferred:
    • Hands-on experience with analytical techniques (HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS, ICP-MS, UV spectroscopy).
    • Experience with strategic planning and capability development.
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Additional Information

  • The anticipated annual base pay range for this full-time position is $95,000 – $120,000. Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include an annual bonus target, subject to eligibility and other requirements. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to employees, including a 401(k) plan with employer match, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents and 2 weeks for other parents, health plans (medical, dental, and vision), life insurance and disability, and generous paid time off.
