Senior Electrical Safety Trainer

Your Tasks

  • Deliver specialized electrical safety consulting and training services, including the development of internal and external electrical safety training content.
  • Conduct electrical safety surveys, loss control assessments, and property hazard evaluations to support client risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare high quality technical reports using standard formats and ensure timely completion within established budgets.
  • Interpret relevant electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements (NFPA, OSHA, FM Global) as part of consulting engagements.
  • Participate in client presentations, proposals, account service teams, and stewardship meetings to support customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives as needed, under the direction of commercial leadership.
  • Maintain expertise across core services and contribute to the growth of the Electrical Protection Services practice.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in electrical safety, Highly Protected Risk insurance, corporate programs, or electrical systems roles.
  • Certified Electrical Safety Compliance Professional (CESCP) required; CSP, ASP, or PE preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills across all audience sizes (1:1 through large groups or conferences).
  • Technical proficiency in electrical safety, arc flash, machinery/equipment hazards, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, customers, and global engagements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office communication tools.

Additional Information

  • The anticipated hourly base pay range for this part-time position is $75/hour - 85/hour. Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. 
  • This is a part-time role working less than 30 hours a week.
  • Travel requirements vary based on client preferences for in person vs. virtual training and consulting delivery; domestic and occasional international travel may be required.
  • Physical aspects of the role may include lifting equipment (20–40 lbs.), climbing ladders, entering industrial environments, and performing on site electrical safety evaluations.
  • Work may involve moderate industrial noise levels and requires regular communication via digital tools.
