We are looking for an experienced OutSystems Architect to take end-to-end ownership of our low-code platform architecture and guide the evolution of our application landscape. The role combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration. You will design scalable and maintainable architectures, drive platform governance, mentor development teams, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and long-term strategic goals.

Tasks:

• Define and own the OutSystems platform architecture, ensuring modular design, reusability, and performance across all applications
• Design and review solution architectures that balance delivery speed with long-term maintainability and technical health
• Develop high-quality OutSystems applications, taking ownership of complex or critical features that require architectural insight
• Establish architecture patterns, shared components, dependency management practices, and governance models to drive consistency across projects
• Ensure compliance with architecture and development standards across OutSystems teams, including conducting architecture and code reviews
• Lead the integration strategy within the platform, focusing on REST APIs, API security, authentication flows, and external system connectivity
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and enterprise architecture teams to align low-code development with enterprise-wide standards
• Own non-functional aspects of the platform, including scalability, availability, logging, monitoring, and performance
• Support platform automation through DevOps practices, including environment configuration, deployment pipelines, LifeTime setup, and monitoring
• Evaluate technical risks, perform impact analyses, and support incident, problem, and change management in cooperation with Platform Ops
• Contribute to the internal platform roadmap, defining standards, lifecycle management, and adoption plans for new features
• Stay up to date with the OutSystems product roadmap, including ODC, and guide strategic platform evolution
• Act as a technical advisor and mentor to developers and stakeholders, promoting technical excellence and a strong engineering culture

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on OutSystems experience, including architectural leadership in enterprise environments
• Demonstrated ability to design and build OutSystems applications end-to-end, including complex logic, integrations, and UI
• Deep understanding of OutSystems architecture, modularization, layered design, dependency cycles, and performance optimization
• Strong experience with OutSystems 11; familiarity with or interest in ODC is a plus
• Proven ability to translate business goals into technically sound and scalable solution designs
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices in the OutSystems ecosystem, including automated deployments and pipeline integration
• Experience with secure development practices, roles and permissions models, and compliance requirements in regulated environments
• Strong knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and REST-based architectures
• Experience troubleshooting complex production applications, including performance issues and logging/monitoring analysis
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English (C1+)
