Job Title: Test Engineer

Job Summary:
The Test Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing façade, window, door, glass, partition, and other building material testing activities. They develop testing methodologies, analyze test data, and provide technical insights. Collaborating with the team leader and other team members, they ensure the successful completion of projects while adhering to relevant standards and safety protocols. The Test Engineer also contributes to research and development efforts, prepares comprehensive test reports, and continuously improves testing methodologies.
The Test Engineer must also be able to travel to client sites or client laboratories for inspection activities, and is fully able and willing to work at the Navanakorn Laboratory, Pathum Thani.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee façade, window, door, glass, and partition testing activities according to established protocols and standards.
  • Develop testing methodologies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Analyze and interpret test data, identify trends, and provide technical insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the team leader/manager and project coordinator in project planning and resource allocation.
  • Stay updated with industry advancements, regulations, and best practices in façade, door, window, glass, and partition testing and related areas.
  • Participate in research and development of new testing techniques and technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to test technicians.
  • Prepare comprehensive and accurate test reports summarizing findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and compliance with testing standards.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in testing methodologies and internal processes.
  • Travel to customer sites or customer laboratories to perform inspection or testing-related activities when required.
  • Work comfortably at the Navanakorn Laboratory in Pathum Thani as the primary work location.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in testing, inspection, or certification fields.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, protocols, and industry standards.
  • Proficient in test data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
