Sales Engineer

Your Tasks

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new clients for lift inspection services (elevators, escalators, moving walkways, dumbwaiters).
  • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and competitive positioning.
  • Meet assigned sales targets, revenue goals, and performance KPIs.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with facility owners, property managers, contractors, consultants, and government entities.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to ensure a smooth client experience.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, clarifications, and contract renewals.
  • Understand lift inspection standards such as EN 81, EN 115, ISO standards, SASO regulations, and local authority requirements.
  • Explain inspection procedures, non-conformities, and compliance requirements to clients in clear technical terms.
  • Coordinate with the inspection team to schedule site visits and ensure proper execution of services.
  • Review engineering documents, maintenance logs, and technical drawings as required.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, and Inspection Engineers to deliver high-quality service.
  • Follow up on invoices, payments, and contract documentation.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Represent the department in client meetings, exhibitions, and industry events.

 

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
  • Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good understanding of compliance, certification, and inspection services environment.
  • Strong analytical and market research capabilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and technical teams.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
