Your Tasks
- Participate in the Associate Training Program, including weekly training calls, hands on fire protection training, and accompanied field surveys.
- Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate fire, property, and business interruption exposures based on NFPA and relevant standards.
- Assess automatic fire protection systems, water supply systems, building construction, occupancy, and special hazards.
- Develop recommendations with pre and post loss estimates, including Maximum Foreseeable Loss scenarios.
- Prepare clear written reports and deliver findings to client stakeholders, including risk managers and operational leaders.
- Support clients with training, loss control program development, and code or regulatory interpretation.
- Participate in project management activities such as special visits, plan reviews, and presentations.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; engineering degree preferred.
- Ability to apply technical knowledge to client situations and support decision making processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to engage with client management professionally.
- Comfortable working in industrial environments and able to perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, carrying up to 50 lbs., and traversing catwalks.
- Self disciplined, organized, and motivated to manage assignments independently.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% and internationally as required. Travel during the Associate Training Program may exceed 50%.
