Job Title : Sales Manager – Green Energy and Sustainability
Department/Section : Industry Service
Reports to : Senior Manager – GES / Senior Manager - IS
- Position Summary
The Sales Manager for Green Energy and Sustainability (GES) shall lead the sales and business development activities for the Renewable Energy sector, formulate sales strategies together with IS management and ensure the successful execution of strategies to convert leads and opportunities to meet sales and OR targets.
- Responsibility and Authority
- Responsible for the execution of sales activities and initiatives of the Renewable Energy (Solar, Wind, Bio Energy, Geothermal Energy) services in the Philippines, and accountable in meeting the sales targets as agreed with local and ASEAN management
- Cooperation with operations, production and management teams to build value-adding proposals that are able to adequately address client requirements.
- Generates leads by active involvement within the GES sector, including but not limited to participation in networking activities, trade associations, conferences and meetings, to ensure a robust pipeline of sales leads and opportunities.
- Create meaningful involvement in the renewable energy and sustainability sector and market, including identifying TÜV SÜD’s positioning in the marketplace in relation to clients, regulators and competitors, to produce an accurate assessment and analysis of current and future trends and develop an effective growth strategy for TÜV SÜD.
- Collaborate with relevant business units and sales/BD leaders in ASEAN and Group to effectively synergize the collective knowledge, information, resources and strategies that result in increased capabilities and opportunities
- Actively maintain and foster relationships of TÜV SÜD with key clients, with the target of developing strong relationships with key clients through the execution of frame agreements and long-term service contracts
- Gather feedback and insights from clients, investors, regulators and other stakeholders & strategic partners on the quality and performance of TÜV SÜD as well as market trends and other significant information that would facilitate planning for future requirements
- Key Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred, but not required
- At least ten (10) years of sales or business development experience within the industrial services sector, of which at least five (5) years are in the power sector
- Established track record in leading sales and business development initiatives and exceeding targets in converting opportunities into sales
- Dynamic self-starter who is versatile and has sound business judgement
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal communication and people management skills
- Willing to travel around the Philippines and ASEAN region
