Sr. Engineer (OTA/Wireless)

Your Tasks

  • Perform complex antenna and wireless performance testing in accordance with CTIA, 3GPP, ETSI and industry standards.
  • Plan, execute, and document RF/Antenna test programs for wireless devices including smartphones, IoT devices, modules, and connected products.
  • Develop and review detailed test plans, test procedures, and test reports to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with accreditation requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise on RF/Wireless test projects, supporting junior engineers and technicians with troubleshooting and methodology guidance.
  • Analyze RF performance data and provide technical interpretation of results to internal teams and external customers.
  • Support laboratory accreditation requirements including ISO/IEC 17025 documentation, uncertainty analysis, and quality procedures.
  • Collaborate with commercial and project management teams to define technical scope, feasibility, and resource planning for customer projects.
  • Support development and implementation of new OTA test capabilities aligned with emerging wireless technologies.
  • Assist with validation, installation, and commissioning of OTA test systems and RF measurement equipment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including automation, process optimization, and new service development.
  • Interface with customers to provide technical guidance during project execution and pre-compliance evaluation.
  • Support participation in industry working groups and standards development activities when required.
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager.

Your Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, or a closely related engineering field and three (3) years of experience in wireless or RF testing; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a closely related engineering field and five (5) years of experience in wireless or RF testing.
  • Experience must include hands-on work with wireless device testing, RF measurement techniques, and OTA antenna performance evaluation.
  • Strong proficiency in RF disciplines and antenna/RF measurement principles.
  • Hands‑on experience with active and passive antenna testing.
  • Ability to manage complex OTA test projects in a fast‑paced technical environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Expertise in CTIA OTA Test Methodology, including familiarity with working groups, test plans, and audit requirements.
  • Experience managing ISO 17025 quality documentation and CTIA technical requirements.

Additional Information

  • The anticipated annual base pay range for this full-time position is $85,000 - 135,000. Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to employees, including a 401(k) plan with employer match, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents and 2 weeks for other parents, health plans (medical, dental, and vision), life insurance and disability, and generous paid time off.
  • This role is based in an accredited laboratory environment and may require flexibility in working hours depending on project demands.
