Manager – Project Operations (Pumped Energy Storage Systems)

Location- Any TUV SÜD base location | Travel as per project requirements

Experience- 7-8 years overall | 2–3 years in Pumped Energy Storage / Hydro / Energy Storage Projects

Competencies Required: Prior experience in Feasibility, DPR, Technical Due Diligence, Owner's Engineer (OE) Services, Independent Engineer / Lender's Engineer, PMC/ Supervision Services, QA/QC & Vendor Inspection

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients, internal teams, project engineers, and external experts during project execution
• Exposure in Feasibility, DPR, Technical Due Diligence, Owner's Engineer (OE) Services, Independent Engineer / Lender's Engineer, PMC/ Supervision Services, QA/QC & Vendor Inspection in Pump Storage Projects
• Work with business development team to generate enquiries and win orders
• Manage manpower deputation and team coordination on project sites
• Perform flow calculations, energy calculations, and basic performance assessments for PES systems
• Plan and conduct site inspections as required
• Prepare, review, and submit project reports, data analysis, and progress updates
• Track project milestones, compliance, and timelines
• Maintain proper documentation and operational quality standards
• Support project teams in daily operational decisions and reporting

Qualifications & Skills

• BE / B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical/ Civil  Engineering
• Strong understanding of Pumped Energy Storage systems and operations
• Experience in studies, flow/energy calculations, operational planning, and project execution
• Good stakeholder management and team coordination skills
• Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation abilities
• Willingness to travel to project sites and client meetings as required
