I.     Position Summary

This position is responsible for controlling and management reporting function within Controlling. The candidate is expected to work closely with team members, various stakeholders and as Business Partner for selected Business Lines and Service Lines. He/she will develop further the controller function and support with management reporting to HQ in Germany. The main tasks include operational controlling, order controlling, investment controlling, lab controlling and business analysis for business initiatives, budgeting and forecasting as well as quality assurance within the responsibility.

II.     Job Responsibilities

1. 1. Working as Controller for certain legal entity or business lines, responsible for all aspects of Controlling tasks, including but not limited to daily reporting and support to the business line, month-end closing including CtC (PoC), Order Controlling, Investment Controlling, Forecast, Planning; (70%)
   2. Responsible for certain Investment/Lab Controlling topics including Investment proposal, Lab Settlement project tracking, Lab calculation/performance tracking, etc.;(10%)
   3. Drive internal control initiatives to optimize internal control process within business/service lines, to ensure compliance with corporate policies; (10%)
   4. Drive processes optimization/automation in various controlling fields; (5%)
   5. Any other ad hoc assignments. (5%)

III.     Job Requirements  

1. Financial & Accounting education background (bachelor or above);
2. At least 2-3 years’ financial analysis or controlling related working experience;
3. Good knowledge of SAP system;
4. Good problem-solving skill, logical & comprehensive thinking ability, solid analytical skill;
5. Pro-active & cross-cultural communication skills with the ability to challenge and influence others;
6. Diligent and self-motivator, quick learner, team player;
7. Excellent in English, both in written and spoken.
