Position Summary

This incumbent is responsible for all activities related to functional safety projects of consumer products and assigned tasks.

Functional Safety is the part of the overall safety that depends on a system or equipment operating correctly in response to its inputs. It is the detection of a potentially dangerous condition resulting in the activation of a protective or corrective device or mechanism to prevent hazardous events arising or providing mitigation to reduce the consequence of the hazardous event. In line with technological development, this position requires strong software knowledge and learning ability, including an understanding of AI technology.

Responsibility and Authority

1. Act and perform according to the Quality Policy. (5%)

2. Keep a professional attitude towards all customers and colleagues. (5%)

3. Provide technical support to sales staff and cost estimation of projects which related to functional safety. (10%)

4. Self-motivated and developing ability in FS to adapt to group needs. (10%)

5. Handle projects and finish tests within lead time. (40%)

6. Sharing experiences with other engineers. (15%)

7. Perform and finish other duties assigned by the leader. (15%)

Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in electronics, software engineer or other related majors.

2. Functional safety experience, software engineering technology or equivalent certification experience in electrical and electronic products is preferred.

3. Knowledges of software such as assembly language, C, C++. With experience in AI technology is preferred

4. Diligent self-encouragement, good at learning, good team spirit.

5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Can work independently and efficiently, can work under pressure.

7. Proficient in computer and office software.
