I. Position Summary
The position takes charge of all technical responsibilities for the inorganic chemistry team, providing comprehensive technical support, resolving critical technical issues, interpreting relevant regulations thoroughly, developing validated new test methods, and organizing standardized technical training, to continuously improve laboratory core competencies and support stable business expansion.
II. Job Responsibilities (starting from verbs, with % of time spent on specific tasks)
1. Utilize various analytical techniques and equipment to complete daily testing tasks; 30%.
2. Research and develop new testing methods and optimize existing methods (including validation of relevant methods) to enhance testing capabilities in inorganic chemistry; 20%.
3.Provide technical support on answering technical inquiry, explaining technical points, and providing expert opinions externally and internally to keep lab’s professional image; 20%
4.Monitor and interpret laws and standards to ensure knowledge update, and organize training as necessary to distribute the updated information timely; 10%
5.Summarize the technical findings, Q&A, or other information regularly through knowledge database management and share with other relevant colleagues to improve the lab’s overall technical competences; 10%
6.Perform other duties assigned by reporting manager. 10%
III. Job Requirements (knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, etc.)
1. Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or a related field.
2. Good written and spoken English skills; must hold a CET-6 certificate or equivalent.
3. Experience operating and maintaining one or more types of instruments (e.g., ICP-MS, ICP-OES, UV-VIS, IC).
4.Good computer skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
5.Good communication and interpersonal skills; Diligence, self-motivation and strong teamwork spirit.
