I.      Position Summary

This position is responsible for completing metallographic analysis for metal material or metal productions on time per TOP or SOP on relevant product standards or testing standard required and maintain the test equipment.

II.      Job Responsibilities

• 1. Perform metallographic, hardness and corrosion testing accurate and punctual per customer’s requirement and related standards. 40%
  2. Complete the metallographic related steps independently including inlay, grinding, polishing, etching, observation, results input, etc.  20%
  3. Provide technical support to sales related issues of metallographic and hardness, and are willing to develop new testing projects. 10%
  4. Prepare equipment maintenance, use records, temperature and humidity records, Period Verification and other work per CNAS and CMA requirements and conduct field demonstration experiments during the evaluation process. 5%
  5. Maintenance metallographic and hardness equipment. 5%
  6. If necessary, overtime is needed to ensure the test cycle. 5%
  7. Perform other duties assigned by Lab Manager.15%

III.      Job Requirements

• 1. Metallic materials major and related undergraduate degree or higher;
  2. More than 3 years’ metallographic analysis experience or failure analysis experience;
  3. Familiar with product standard or testing standards on ASTM , DIN, EN, JIS GB, ISO;
  4. Good understanding and fulfillment to working related targets, standards, policies, procedures and instructions;
  5. Respect and safeguard company’s image, reputation and benefit;
  6. Diligence, self-motivation, self-improvement and strong teamwork spirit;
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  8. Work independently and efficiently under pressure;
  9. Good computer skill;
  10. Good command of English.
