The candidate will assume a meaningful role in ensuring the safety of industrial electrical and electronics products. Through the role, he/she will gain a comprehensive understanding on existing test procedures required of the products and acquire stakeholder management skills through liaison with vendors and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and evaluate environmental (climatic) tests of industrial electrical and electronic products in accordance to international standards
• Ensure testing is done in compliant to safety guidelines and completed on schedule in accordance to client’s requirements
• Prepare test and inspection reports
• Collaborate with vendors and other departments to resolve engineering issues or testing requirements
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure smooth execution of projects
• Undertake process improvement projects on testing facilities and services
• Maintain and upkeep test facilities and equipment
• Participate in local and overseas site works including site assessment, survey, inspection, testing and commissioning as required by projects
• Overtime and shift work may be required on project basis

Key Requirements:

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent. Fresh diploma graduates are welcome to apply.
• Results and service-oriented individual who possesses initiative and good communication skills
• Proactive team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines
• Self-motivated and resourceful with a "can-do" attitude
• May be required to be stationed in external local / overseas laboratories
