The Program Specialist supports the successful delivery of strategic initiatives within TÜV SÜD's Decarbonization Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Singapore. The role acts as a central coordination point across renewable energy, supply chain decarbonization, capacity building, academic partnerships, and thought leadership programs. Working closely with technical experts, government agencies, universities, and industry stakeholders, the position ensures that program activities are effectively planned, coordinated, tracked, and delivered in line with CoE objectives and funding commitment.
Key Responsibilities
Program Coordination & Delivery
- Coordinate program activities across multiple CoE workstreams and strategic initiatives
- Support planning, execution, tracking, and reporting of project milestones, deliverables, and stakeholder engagement
- Maintain program schedules, action trackers, and progress reports
- Ensure alignment between project activities and overall CoE objectives
Capacity Building & Thought Leadership
- Coordinate capacity-building workshops and knowledge-sharing initiatives with government agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders
- Support the development of technical content, presentations, workshop materials, and stakeholder communications
- Contribute to positioning the CoE as a recognized thought leader in decarbonization, carbon markets, and energy transition
Academic & Ecosystem Collaboration
- Support collaboration with universities under Singapore Government MoUs
- Coordinate curriculum development, training programs, and joint initiatives under relevant partnerships and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs)
- Facilitate exchanges between academia, industry, and CoE experts
Supply Chain Integrity & Working Group Coordination
- Organize meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements while ensuring timely delivery of agreed outputs and milestones
- Ensure structured collaboration, clear outputs, and delivery of agreed milestones
Stakeholder management & Administrative support
- Act as a coordination interface between technical experts, government agencies, academic partners, and internal functions
- Prepare meeting materials, progress reports, presentations, and documentation
- Support governance, reporting, and administrative activities required for successful program delivery
- Assist in monitoring program budgets, resource allocation, and reporting requirement
Key Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field
- Min. 4 years of experience in program coordination, project management, consulting, sustainability, or related areas
- Experience or strong interest in decarbonization, carbon markets, sustainable supply chains, or climate-related programs
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management capabilities
- Strong ability to manage multi-stakeholder environments across industries and regions
- Structured and organized working style with strong coordination skills
Nice to have
- Experience working with government institutions or public-private partnerships
- Familiarity with decarbonization topic
- Exposure to academia collaboration or training programs
- Experience in supply chain sustainability or ESG frameworks
