The Marketing Country Coordinator for Vietnam serves as the primary point of contact for senior management within the country to ensure that all marketing requirements are addressed effectively. The role is responsible for providing regular country performance reporting, coordinating and planning local events, and ensuring seamless execution of marketing initiatives in close collaboration with Marketing Business Partners and the wider marketing organization. This position also manages local customer communications, supports cross-selling activities and a localization check for communication materials to align with corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main liaison between senior management in Vietnam and the marketing organization to address local marketing needs and priorities.
- Prepare and deliver regular country performance reports for senior management.
- Coordinate the planning and execution of local events, including seminars, training courses, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing Business Partners and other marketing teams to execute local campaigns effectively.
- Oversee brand-related activities, including merchandise distribution, localization of corporate presentations, and lab/office branding.
- Assist with localization of marketing materials and ensure relevance to the Vietnamese market.
- Support internal marketing administrative procedures.
- Interim: Manage local customer calls and respond to inquiries in Vietnamese via designated email addresses and other communication channels. Capture and report lead to support cross-selling initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years in marketing coordination, marketing communications, or a similar role
- Track record in event planning and campaign execution. Prior experience in an international corporate environment is preferred
- Fluent in Vietnamese and strong English proficiency, written and verbal
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail
- Experience in executing marketing campaigns, events, and brand activities
- Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office; familiarity with digital marketing tools is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams
