Executive - CSR Audits

1. Role / Qualification of the Applicant

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Social Sciences, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in social compliance auditing or report review.

  • Knowledge Requirements:

    • Strong understanding of local labor laws and regulations.

    • Good knowledge of social compliance standards such as SMETA, BSCI, SA8000, WRAP, and Client Codes of Conduct.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Excellent analytical, verification, and report-writing skills.

    • High attention to detail and ability to assess objective evidence.

    • Strong professional integrity, impartiality, and confidentiality awareness.

    • Effective communication and coordination skills for working with auditors and internal teams.

2. Core Activity within Our Company

  • Review social compliance audit reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

  • Verify that all findings are supported by adequate objective evidence and documentation.

  • Ensure proper classification of non-conformities (Critical / Major / Minor).

  • Validate alignment of audit findings with applicable standards (SMETA, BSCI, SA8000, WRAP, and client Codes of Conduct).

  • Check correct application of legal references, particularly related to labor laws.

  • Improve clarity, grammar, and professional language in audit reports where required.

  • Ensure audit report format and structure comply with scheme and client requirements.

  • Review reports within defined timelines and maintain review efficiency.

  • Coordinate with auditors to resolve report queries and close review comments promptly.

  • Escalate delays, inconsistencies, or technical concerns to management when necessary.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of audit data and client information.

3. Area of Deployment

    • Department: Social Compliance / Sustainability / Audit Review Team.

    • Function: Audit report quality assurance and technical review.

    • Scope of Work: Review of social compliance audit reports across multiple industries and supply chains.

    • Work Environment: Office-based or hybrid environment with regular coordination with field auditors, compliance teams, and certification program requirements.
