Your Tasks

Lead and manage the Business Assurance Management Systems Assurance (BA MSA) Certification Body of TÜV SÜD America, Inc., accredited under ANAB

Ensure ongoing compliance of certification activities with ANAB accreditation requirements and applicable international standards

Act as the primary liaison with ANAB, including coordination of office audits, witnessed audits, and accreditation assessments

Oversee the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Certification Body Quality Management System (QMS)

Define and govern certification rules, technical requirements, and certification decision criteria, ensuring correct implementation by operational teams

Establish competency, onboarding, training, and authorization requirements for Certification Body personnel and maintain related competency records

Collaborate with BA Operations, Program Line Managers, and the Central Certification Body to drive harmonization, operational efficiency, scope expansion, and strategic growth
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, natural sciences, quality management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience in certification or conformity assessment
- At least 4–5 years of experience within a certification body, including hands-on involvement in conformity assessment activities (e.g. auditing, technical review, certification decision-making, or quality management)
- Strong knowledge of accreditation and management system standards such as ISO/IEC 17021, ISO/IEC 17065, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and related schemes
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, or managing certification schemes and accreditation scopes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently, manage complexity, and maintain focus and composure in regulated and high-accountability environments

The anticipated hourly base pay range for this full-time position is $130,000- $175,000. Actual base pay will be determined based on various factors, including years of relevant experience, training, qualifications, and internal equity. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to employees, including a 401(k) plan with employer match, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave for birthing parents and 2 weeks for other parents, health plans (medical, dental, and vision), life insurance and disability, and generous paid time off.
