Senior Account Engineer, GRC

Your Tasks

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor for assigned client accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and program value.
  • Manage and coordinate loss prevention engineering programs, progressively transitioning from field engineering activities to a predominantly account engineering focus.
  • Develop, maintain, and update account servicing instructions, field engineering templates, and account documentation.
  • Review engineering reports, fire data analyses, and technical documentation to ensure quality, consistency, and technical accuracy.
  • Monitor account performance through dashboards, account summary reports, workload reviews, and database integrity assessments.
  • Support client meetings, stewardship reviews, and presentations while identifying opportunities for program expansion and additional consulting services.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project, and consulting teams to deliver timely, high-quality solutions that balance client needs and account profitability.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Solid experience in fire and associated perils loss prevention engineering.
  • Previous account engineering or loss prevention engineering experience supporting clients across diverse industries.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, provide technical guidance, and deliver high-quality reports and client presentations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the United States as required for client meetings, site visits, and field inspections.
  • Experience in industries such as manufacturing, pulp and paper, power generation, mining, food and beverage, chemical, or similar sectors is considered an advantage.

  • The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $150,000 USD.
  • Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, technical expertise, qualifications, geographic location, and market considerations.
  • In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have access to company-sponsored benefits and other compensation programs in accordance with applicable plans and policies.

Additional Information

The role begins with a significant field engineering component and progressively transitions toward an account engineering focus, with the long-term objective of approximately 90% account engineering responsibilities and 10% field, project, or consulting activities. Account engineering responsibilities may continue to increase as additional client assignments are added.
