POSITION SUMMARY:

We are  seeking an experienced Inspection Engineer (API Certified Inspector) to support safe, compliant, and efficient operations across client sites. The role ensures that pressure vessels, pipelines, storage tanks, and other critical equipment consistently meet API standards, regulatory requirements, and our longstanding commitment to quality, technical excellence, and integrity. This position plays a vital role in safeguarding asset integrity, reducing operational risks, and elevating safety performance.

 

 

YOUR TASKS

  • Conduct detailed inspections of pressure vessels, pipelines, storage tanks, and other critical equipment to verify compliance with API safety and quality standards.
  • Evaluate equipment condition in accordance with regulatory and industry requirements; identify defects, corrosion, or emerging issues that could pose safety or operational risks.
  • Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using approved methods to assess material and structural integrity without causing damage.
  • Prepare structured inspection reports, document findings, and track corrective actions to meet both client and regulatory documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to develop, refine, and execute effective inspection and maintenance plans.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by contributing to best practices, strengthening internal processes, and promoting enhanced safety and operational efficiency across projects.

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in inspection, asset integrity, or related engineering functions.
  • Valid API Certification(s):
    • API 510 – Pressure Vessel Inspector (required).
    • API 570 – Piping Inspector (required).
    • API 653 – Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector .
  • NDT Level II certification in relevant methods (UT, MT, PT, PT, RT).
  • Strong knowledge of applicable industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to prepare clear and accurate inspection reports and communicate technical findings effectively.
  • Key Skills:
    • Strong analytical ability and sound technical judgment.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy in inspection work.
    • Effective communication and collaboration with engineers, maintenance teams, and clients.
    • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to recommend practical corrective actions.
    • Strong safety awareness and a disciplined, integrity-driven approach to work.
    • Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple inspection assignments.
